Creator of minecraft gives one tiny piece of info on Xbox port

Yesterday Minecraft creator, Markus Persson, revealed a tiny peice of information though a series of tweets, the developer handling the Xbox port of minecraft. He revealed them to be 4J studios, developers of the fantastic Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie and Perfect Dark ports. As well as developing the PS3 version of oblivion.

I see this as fantastic news, the ports of Banjo and Perfect Dark were all done incredibly well. They were smoothed out, upscaled and had their framerate's increased to make them much better experiences than the originals were. The fact that they're handling minecraft is great news, I now fully expect the Xbox version to be one of the best versions available.

Though this is good news, I also have to wonder what else we'll see of this version. There has been pretty much no word of it, only getting a tiny mention at microsoft's E3 press conference. This little bit of info makes me feel sure that it's going to be good, but I still have to wonder how they can hope to implement kinect features into the game, or if we'll even see the game any time soon.

Despite these doubts, I am looking forward to this. Minecraft is a game which I find to be really really addictive and fun, and I hope an Xbox version could add features through Xbox live that makes the whole experience so much better.
